"Jungle City" sinniert über das Leben - über das Leben in der Stadt und über die Stadt in unserem Leben. Ein Dschungel, in dem wir uns behaupten und unseren eigenen Platz finden möchten, uns entspannen und unseren Kaffee nehmen. Ein Platz, an dem wir uns selbst organisieren müssen, ohne dabei unter zu gehen! Die Reisebegleiter sind Caryl Baker am Piano und Pierre-Francoise Massy am Doppelbass. Beide Musiker bringen viel Erfahrung mit und kennen sich in der musikalischen Safari von improvisierter und komponierter Musik bestens aus. Das Album enthält zehn Titel, acht davon stammen von Alexandre Nussbaum, zwei wurden von Caryl Baker geschrieben.

The other travel mates are Caryl Baker on the piano and Pierre-François Massy on the double bass. These are two top musicians who bring with them all sorts of experiences and who engage in a musical safari of improvised and written music.
Eight original tracks composed by Alexandre Nussbaum and two by Caryl Baker. The musical structures are architectural in which we find cubic, rectangular (building), diagonal, straight, curved and even spiral forms.
New York and Los Angeles are two cities in which I`ve spent some time and that have indeed inspired a number of tracks on this album.
